The limited edition print Our Melody Unwound was created on the occasion of Liz West’s large scale wall installation at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool. The installation is Liz West’s first permanent two-dimensional wall based artwork, covering an area of more than 800 sqm. This print represents a 5 meter section of the installation.

Part of the proceeds will support The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

Liz West comments about the new work; “This work is inspired by my knowledge of and empathy for the experience of cancer patients (…). Derived from nature, the colour palette aims to encourage positive associations, memories, and experiences of colour. I make these colour choices and arrangement instinctively and intuitively, experimenting in colour mixing and blending to focus on the interaction of colours, as well as carefully composing a spatial balance between geometric elements and forms. I hope people find that this luminous and considered mix of colours encourages a sense of wellbeing and brings joy.”
